The city of Frankfurt, Germany, will be for a few days the focus and meeting place for all high-tech textile materials, as the new edition of Techtextil and Texprocess will be held there from May 14th to 17th. The success of these two trade fairs is guaranteed, with first-class exhibitors in a larger number than that of previous editions, while the number of professional visitors is also expected to exceed results of past editions.
Techtextil will be the place to find out about technical textile materials for all uses and purposes, in addition to textile technologies. The international trade fair, planned around “Urban life – the city of the future” will also look into the future and the way technical textiles will define and give shape to urban life. In terms of Spanish companies taking part, Michael Jänecke, Area Director of Technical Textiles & Textile Processing, Messe Frankfurt, said, “There will be some fifty companies, and it is important to point out that the area by contract is the same as in our past edition”. Also, some companies will be participating for the first time”.
Texprocess, on the other hand, is the most important fair trade for textiles and flexible materials. The trade fair will be about technologies available in the next few years, such as automated processes, personalization and customization, durability, and more. At Texprocess, exhibitors from some 29 countries will be showcasing the full range of available technologies for textile processing, ranging from design to logistics, recycling, cutting, manufacturing, trimming, and digital printing.
