Pony, the world’s leading manufacturer of sewing needles, knitting needles, accessories, snap buttons, hooks, pins, safety pins and other related products, has started the process of renovating packaging. The change will affect only the classic line of knitting products: sock knitting needles, crochet hooks, circular needles, aluminium and plastic Tunisians.

The new packaging is designed to gradually change in this range of products until the new image is fully established. With this initiative the company shows it is determined to bring pure, simple lines in packaging so that Pony products are the true protagonists.

In line with what end users prefer, namely recycling packaging, Pony is committed to such important things as respect for our environment, reducing the carbon footprint, and energy costs. Innovation is indispensable if we seek a sustainable future, and Pony’s commitment is evident with the new packaging chosen.

Pony has chosen a clearly minimalistic line, considerably reducing materials used for packaging, along with visual elements associated to des ign. The success of this brand reaches at the same time major reductions in the use of ink and the weight of cardboard.

New minimal packaging by Pony summarizes the following criteria:

  • the economic requirements for contemporary packaging
  • totally addresses the concerns for our environment by the drastic reduction of paper and board
  • uses only recycled board and paper
  • perfectly matched to existing  point-of-sales displays.

– Completely eliminate plastic packaging

– Safe packaging for all products in this line

– Minimalistic graphics, reducing the use of ink

– Designed for easy recycling as only one single material is used for each product

– QR code links to details of product and lifestyle images for products in use
